Alternative London & Bedfordshire wedding photographer – Harlestone Firs engagement shoot in Northampton – Louise & Michael
‘Oh my god… oh my god… they are stunning!!! I’ve just cried like a baby!! Thank you so much, I’m speechless! Love, love, love them!!! Thank you so much – they are beautiful! xx’
Louise and Michael live in Northamptonshire and regularly take time to walk at Harlestone Firs woodland near their home. The couple are planning their Plum Park wedding (which I’m so excited to photograph next month!) and decided that they’d like an engagement photoshoot prior to their big day to get used to being in front of the camera. As Harlestone Firs is so important to them, it made sense to spend some time adventuring there to capture their engagement photographs. We met one warm, hazy June evening and were blessed with beautiful soft golden light – the kind of light that makes a photographer’s heart beat faster and jump in excitement as the light shards shine through the fir trees! Louise had bought a dress 9 months previous which she promised herself she’d wear for her and Michael’s engagement shoot, and amazingly has lost an incredible 3 stone to realise her dream. Such an inspiration!
Guys, you are the sweetest, most relaxed couple and I had so much fun capturing these memories for you. Thank you for trusting me when I excitedly babbled ‘the light, the light, please go and stand in the light’ and I hope you love these photographs from your Harlestone Firs engagement shoot as much as I do! Lots of love and see you next month for your wedding day! Nx
