Alternative London wedding photographer – A same-sex Northbrook Park wedding in blush & navy – James & Joseph
‘Natalie thank you so much for yesterday, you literally made our day perfect. It felt like having one of our friends taking the pictures! Thank you for helping us keep calm… you are amazing!!!’ …well, if this isn’t a reason to love what I do, I don’t know what is!
Before we start, let’s just take a moment to note that this blog post is twice as long as I normally create – I couldn’t help myself. This wedding is one of those weddings where everything is, just, well… awesome. So, make a cup of tea or pour yourself a glass of wine & take a look…
James & Joseph got married after 5 years together, after meeting on a dating website, with a beautiful Northbrook Park wedding. The story varies a little, depending on who is telling it(!) but what matters is that whatever the beginning, this is where their path together has led them, to get married on what was probably the most perfect day – the perfect setting, the perfect weather, the 14 children present were perfectly behaved. Northbrook Park wedding venue is my new favourite wedding venue. Hands down. With peacocks roaming around (yes, I did climb through bushes to get photographs), a ceremony in an orangery, stunning walled gardens with games for the adults (and children), beautiful flowers by Eden Blooms, delicious naked wedding cake by Andi Freeman Cakes (I know because I enjoyed a piece… two pieces… on the journey home), catering by Fusion Catering Solutions, stunning gold letterpress stationery from Print For Love of Wood, music by Version and topped off with golden rings by Tiffany & Co. What more could one want from a wedding? Throw in some ‘My Little Pony’ tattoo transfers, ‘I ♥ Gays’ badges & a Photo Booth by The Mighty Booth then you’re on to a winner. It’s weddings like this that make me absolutely LOVE what I do.
Guys… enjoy these photographs, enjoy married life & I wish you all the love in the world! Nx
