Garden wedding, Hertfordshire

Alternative London & Bedfordshire wedding photographer – A relaxed, outdoor garden wedding in Hertfordshire – Georgie & Pete

‘Natalie these are AMAZING! You are so talented. Thank you so so much for capturing our day so perfectly!! The photographs really tell the story of our day & show so much happiness, love & laughter. It is incredible how well you have captured everyone’s personalities as well. I will forever be reminding my husband that I choose you to capture our day & should clearly to be decision maker going forward! I have sent the images to our families who have been overwhelmed. My mum has said it was worth every penny & way more. Thank you so much, Lots of love, Georgie & Pete xx’

Ahead of their August garden wedding in Hertfordshire, Georgie got in touch with me saying ‘I absolutely love your photos!’. Her & her fiance Pete were based in Northern Ireland as they both work in the Military, where they met, & flew back one weekend to see me at the Milton Keynes wedding fair I was exhibiting at. Georgie told me of their plans for a relaxed garden wedding in a marquee in her dad’s back garden in Hertfordshire, with decorations of rose gold, blush & pearls. I absolutely love photographing garden weddings & Georgie & Pete’s whole wedding day was a delight.

The wedding day dawned & was a little damp, though most certainly didn’t dampen any spirits & happy smiles were firmly in place all day. We nipped outside during rain showers to capture bridal party photographs & for Georgie & Pete’s couple session together, the raindrops just making the greens greener. My favourite moment was when Georgie made a surprise speech to announce her wedding gift to Pete – a Mariachi band that he’d wanted the whole way through their wedding planning. Cue all the guests standing up to dance to a Mexican rendition of Johnny Cash’s ‘Ring of Fire’!

Georgie & Pete, thank you so much for allowing me to capture the magical moments of your wedding day! So much love to you, Nx
