Alternative London Wedding Photographer – Bangkok, Thailand travel destination photography – Chakrabongse Villas Wedding Venue
Following an incredible adventure travelling around Myanmar (Burma), I spent 5 days in Bangkok in Thailand to photograph Lilly & Kyle’s Wat Arun engagement shoot ahead of their Thailand elopement wedding, as well as a couple photoshoot for Anastasia & Miro.
The beautiful Chakrabongse Villas wedding venue, on the banks of the Chao Phraya river was a perfect base for both of my photoshoots & to explore the old town of Bangkok, Rattanakosin. I was quite poorly during my time in Thailand so alas did not get to explore or venture as far as I had hoped, but it was still amazing to take in the kaleidoscope of colours that makes up Bangkok & to experience the Thai culture. Huge thanks to Atom at Chakrabongse Villas for making my stay incredible – it was a rather luxurious end to some hard travelling around Asia & is such a beautiful oasis of calm. It would make a wonderful wedding venue if anyone is planning a Thailand wedding or elopement in Bangkok! Had I not been so poorly, due to my anti-Malaria tablets from Myanmar, I would have spent a couple of days at Ayutthaya ancient city, but I still had a wonderful time doing the Bangkok must-sees – exploring & taking lots of travel photography around the old town Rattanakosin, flower market & temples of Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew & Wat Pho (my favourite!) with the giant reclining Buddha & rows upon rows of golden seated Buddhas.
Here is a much-smaller-than-it-would-have-been collection of my travel photography in Bangkok. It’s an incredibly city & has given me but a taste of Thailand – I hope to adventure back there soon! Nx
