NYC CENTRAL PARK ELOPEMENT WEDDING

Newlyweds at the NYC elopement wedding in Dumbo, Brooklyn

New York City Elopement Wedding Photography

Adam and Hannah followed their hearts to have the most amazing elopement wedding in NYC. They had originally arranged to have their wedding in Nottingham UK, but their plans were turning into something not ‘them’. So, they cancelled everything bar their wedding outfits (and me as their photographer!) and added a few days on to their honeymoon to New York City, to have an elopement wedding in Shakespeare Garden, Central Park. “I’m beyond thrilled you will be coming to New York with us, I’m certainly looking forward to a much simpler and easier wedding!” Hannah wrote to me after we discussed the change to their plans.

Shakespeare Garden, Central Park intimate elopement wedding

Hannah got ready at a loft apartment in the Bronx – looking AMAZING in her bespoke jumpsuit with a thigh-high split up one leg, by Velvet Johnstone – and got a cab down to Central Park in Manhattan for the wedding ceremony. 11 of the couple’s family and friends had flown over from England to join them for the celebrations, and this intimate celebration was such a joy to photograph. After the Shakespeare Garden wedding ceremony everyone enjoyed champagne in the sunshine to the sound of the band GreenDay sound checking the song ‘Time of your life’ for a music festival, before the couple and I headed around Manhattan to take photographs. Adam and Hannah placed a huge importance on photography so had planned a few hours around NYC for their photographs – Central Park, Top of the Rock and Grand Central Station, before we got a yellow cab over the Brooklyn Bridge to Dumbo for early evening photographs against the Manhattan skyline.

The lights of Manhattan twinkling around us, we headed back up to the Upper West side to Trattoria Dell’Arte where their friends and family were waiting, for the couple’s relaxed meal reception. All finished up with a Limoncello toast – the perfect end to an utterly incredible day!

“Darling girl! Our photos are the BEST! I’m crying over how TRULY INCREDIBLE those photos are!! I’m literally shaking. You are literally the best and we made the best decision choosing you! It truly was the time of our lives and it just wouldn’t have been the same without you there! I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for us! Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

I absolutely LOVE how this couple followed their dreams to have their perfect wedding celebration; an intimate elopement wedding in New York City! There are a LOT of photos in this blog, as it was all truly wonderful… Nxx
