Abhishek got in touch with me after seeing some previous couple photoshoots that I have photographed in Iceland. He and his wife Shikha were visiting Iceland for their engagement trip and wanted a photographer to capture their Iceland wedding photography adventures to the waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and Reynisfjara black sand beach. We met one February morning in Reykjavik (after I had just flown home from photographing a wedding in Las Vegas) and spent the next 2 days adventuring along the south coast of Iceland for their engagement photoshoot. These guys are after my own heart at their marvelling of the Iceland landscapes – it really is magical! It is also incredibly windy and we found ourselves in the middle of a storm with nigh-hurricane-force winds, staying overnight in a lovely hotel in the shadow of Eyjafjallajökull volcano. It was a brilliant couple of days and I’m so impressed at Shikha braving the horizontal rain and chilly Icelandic winds in her gorgeous red dress!

Iceland, once again it was an absolutely pleasure to witness and photograph your breathtaking scenery; Abhishek and Shikha, thanks you for asking me to be your Iceland engagement couple photographer and I too hope to see you again on another adventure! Nx
